Responsibilities:
Summary:
Responsible for credit and collections for assigned customers. Determine appropriate collections action on delinquent accounts and assist as necessary in the collection function. Utilize collection scheduler daily and review payment exception reports to identify payment problems. Interface with customers, sales, sales admin, mgmt, and credit analyst as necessary regarding collection actions. Coordinate the preparation of bad debt write off packages with Supervisor. Receive and resolve customers' complaints ensuring customer satisfaction. Ensures compliance with FDA Regulations. Actively promotes safety in all aspects of responsibilities
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
•Proactively manage customers’ accounts within assigned credit limits and payment terms, and alert management of any negative.
•Manage orders on hold list in accordance with business unit policies and procedures.
•Collect overdue invoices / balances.
•Maintain collection notes in Oracle A/R.
•Identify customer disputes, deductions and overpayments.
•Notify individuals responsible for resolution
•Follow up to insure disputes, deductions and overpayments are resolved promptly
•Resolve Payment Exception Notices (PENs). Apply unidentified payments and credit adjustments in accordance with customers’ instructions.
•Enforcement of Air Liquide Healthcares’s collection polices and procedures.
•Process Bad Debt Write-off packages.
•Process Small Balance Write-offs.
•Recommend process improvements for collections activities.
Requirements:
General Requirements:
Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise:
•Minimum 3-5 years of proactive collection experience
•Excellent organizational skills
•Understanding of collection laws and techniques
•Personal computer skills, including Microsoft applications
•Strong communication skills
•Experience with account history research and problem-solving
Physical Requirements:
•Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
•Lifting/ carrying up to 10 lbs, occasionally, or a negligible amount frequently.
Education: High School Diploma (GED)
