Therapeutic Gas Product Manager

Responsibilities:

Meet or exceed the company’s safety standards
Operate personal, rental, or company vehicles in a safe and lawful manner
Observe all safety rules and environmental regulations at company and customer locations

Responsible for all aspects of the therapeutic gases business for North America including:
Market recommendations for market entry, market position, and offering modification.
Develop and Implementation of the business and marketing plan
Commercial execution of the business plan.
Co-ordination of 3rd parties to assist in regulatory approvals, with ability to provide options for drug and device regulatory status.
Building relationships with key opinion leaders throughout North America medical community.
Manages appropriate internal and external resources as needed to reach a thorough understanding of the current and future therapeutic gases across all relevant market segments.
Manage with the development and support of the commercial offer for therapeutic gases across all relevant market segments.
Assists and gives guidance relative to operational resources to support the Therapeutic gases initiative.
Regularly interacts with both local management and the Paris – based Sante marketing team to monitor progress and receive assistance.
Achieve sales and revenue objectives with sufficient recognition of profitability targets
Autonomous role demanding vision and persistence.


Develop extensive internal and external working relationships in order to successfully launch the product lines envisioned:
Develop relationships with internal experts to ensure development products are given adequate resources in order to provide commercialization.
Build external contacts that provide the opportunity to advance technological or market knowledge.
Collaborate with external medical professionals and medical science liaisons to define product line placement.

Requirements:

Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise
Technical
Extensive, broad, industry experience in Healthcare and Medical Gases/drug products and devices.
Experience in developing long-term business plans that introduce new products into developed markets
Ability to quickly develop a deep knowledge of therapeutic gases markets including:
In depth clinical understanding of indications for particular therapeutic gases
Trends in pathologies treated by therapeutic gases, treatment protocols and emerging competitive therapies
Technology/clinical developments in delivery devices
Cost position, etc
Competitive landscape
Strong ability to conceptualize and communicate ideas to management.
Strong ability to recognize and develop product and service opportunities.


Business Development
In depth knowledge of customers and current target markets
5-10 years experience in business development roles in a healthcare/pharmaceutical environment
Free-thinking, innovative, and adaptable attitude toward deal solutions
Ability to function in a highly decentralized team environment with minimal internal structure and extensive flexibility
Ability to formalize business relationships and projects through strong negotiation and contract development
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lead project development teams consisting of personnel from many groups ( Operations, Finance, HR, Sales and Marketing) to successful conclusion
Strong skills related to determining customers requirements and recognizing specific project improvement opportunities
Experience successfully launching a differentiated drug or device product

Communication
Strong verbal and written communication skills with external participants that convey a sense of knowledge and trust on a particular subject
Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform and/or evaluate complex project economics

Management Skills
An ability to interface in a diplomatic manner with a broad range of people up to, and including, Board level
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage conflict
Strong people management skills with a proven track record

Physical Requirements
Light lifting
Ability to travel as needed up to 40%

Educational Requirements
Bachelor Degree (preferably in medical, engineering, finance/accounting), or equivalent
Master of Business Administration, or equivalent experience (preferred)
Ten+ years of similar experience
