Responsibilities:
Supports and complies with all safety, health, and environmental procedures directed by local and corporate personnel and safety departments. Supports and complies with all process safety management practices. Supports and complies with the established quality systems and reports any deficiency. Maintains the operation of hydrogen / syngas production plant in order to maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable plant. Offers suggestions to improve system and procedure efficiency and quality. Displays proper attitudes and work ethics. Demonstrates ability to follow directions from manager. Demonstrates ability to communicate with customer in order to satisfy requirements. Demonstrates ability to work 12 hour shifts and provide on call assistance to plant operation. Actively participates in training programs for plant personnel. Actively participates in operating procedure development / revisions.
Requirements:
Knowledge of basic computer skills. Knowledge of instrumentation and rotating equipment. Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills in order to deal effectively with management and external customers. Demonstrated self motivated attitude. Ability to work in team environment. High school diploma or equivalent education. 2 year associates degree in a technical field or technical training. 2-5 years of chemical plant operation experience. Working knowledge of the syngas industry, products, and customers.
