Plant Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:
•Maintain and repair production related equipment in the plant such as compressors, vacuum pumps, and gauges.
•Maintain and make minor repairs on HVAC equipment.
•Order the necessary parts and/or equipment from designated vendors to complete a job task.
•Maintain and perform jobs related to the general upkeep of the plant such as lighting repairs, door repairs, railings, patching, etc.
•Keep all tools in a safe and workable condition.
•Must be able to operate a fork truck, pallet jack, and other related moving equipment.
•Assist in the building and repair of plant manifold systems and customer units such as trailers, modules, and cylinder bundles.
•Maintain and repair plant scrubbing units as needed.
•Perform basic welding and soldering operations as needed.
Requirements:
Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise
•Must understand and comply with the established Quality System and is empowered to report any quality deficiencies and stop any plant operation if it is compromising the quality process.
•Must understand and comply with all safety regulations and guidelines while on company or customer property. The incumbent must perform their work with the utmost regard for the safety and health of all involved.
•Must possess a good mechanical ability and have knowledge of a wide variety of tools and maintenance type equipment.
•Ability to operate a fork lift.
Physical Requirements
•Full range of motion; ability to lift 50 pounds.
Educational Requirements
•High School diploma.
•Proficiency in the English language and the ability to accurately perform basic arithmetic calculations.
